The 26-year-old Turkish archer, Oznur Cure Girdi, became a para archery star at the Paris 2024 Paralympics by breaking the compound women's world record in the ranking round, surpassing 700 points, and maintaining her stellar performance in the elimination rounds. Oznur won her first Paralympic gold, defeating Iran's Fatemeh Hemmati 144-141 in the final.
