I’ve been recording a Bach Chorale a day from my NYC apartment as the city shelters in place for Covid-19. Today is Day 206! I've recorded 192 chorales, 23 arias, 2 ariosos, 3 sinfonia, 1 motet, 5 chorus, and 10 recitatives since March 19, 2020. From April 13 on, I've been playing through Bach's chorales in order of BWV numbers (Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis... how Bach's works are categorized) and today is BWV 181. For this tenor aria, both the voice and continuo are on piccolo cello.
