Using vintage glass on the Fujifilm GFX cameras saves you a lot of money, gives you some character in your images that the near perfect Fujifilm lenses don’t have, and you get the enjoyment of using your hands and eye to get focus, and dial in the exposure you want.
In this video, I use an SMC Pentax-A 50mm 1.7 vintage lens on my Fujifilm GFX 50R, and dial in two very different film sims, one very colourful, and one very noir black and white. Both recipes are below if you want to try them out in your Fujifilm cameras.
I don’t have ads on my channel, or affiliate links, I’m not selling gear or courses, or sponsored by any company. I make these videos for my own enjoyment, and hope some viewers also get something out of them.
