2020 marked the 100-year anniversary of women’s suffrage and the passage of the 19th amendment granting some women the right to vote. Please join the NBMAA and Norman Rockwell Museum for a dynamic virtual discussion on “Women, Art, and Activism” to explore how art has played a prominent role in influencing women’s rights throughout history. The talk will explore art of the last century and focus on current NBMAA exhibition "Some Day is Now: Women, Art & Social Change" and Norman Rockwell Museum’s recent exhibition "Rose O’Neill: Artist & Suffragette" and current "Unity Project."
