LIGGLES Gemlin Legionnaire Mercenary Build. Welcome back for a quick progress update on the Strength/Attribute-stacking Gemling Legionnaire build! This is a Pillar of the Caged God–focused melee tank setup that scales flat elemental damage from high Strength (and, with Hand of Wisdom and Action [HOWA] gloves added, Dexterity and Intelligence too). The result? Massive HP, formidable defenses, and—now with HOWA—truly monstrous boss damage.

What’s Changed Since Last Time?

Enhanced Damage Output: With HOWA gloves and other upgrades now in place, we’re shredding T15 bosses while maintaining over 7,300 HP, capped resistances, and strong chaos resistance. Critics who found the previous damage output lacking may want to take a second look!
Tweaked Defenses: While we’ve dropped some armor to focus on HP stacking, our huge life pool and attribute scaling provide a robust safety net against big physical hits. It’s a trade-off that feels more effective for handling tough encounters.
Seamless Leveling & Endgame Scaling: This build uses the same weapon (Pillar of the Caged God) from level 1, delivering one-tap boss kills in early acts and offering insane scaling potential as you invest in better gear (Astramentis, Against the Darkness jewels, etc.). It starts strong and only gets better.

Unmatched Survivability & Offense: Imagine cruising through maps face-tanking most threats, while still dishing out top-tier boss damage. Even tough endgame content gets trivialized by sheer HP and scaling flat damage sources.

Weaknesses & Considerations:

Melee Body Blocking: Being in melee range can sometimes lead to awkward situations or on-death effects pinning you down.

Suffix Pressure & Unique Reliance: Relying on specific uniques and balancing resistances can create some gearing hurdles, but the payoff is huge.
Leveling Tips:

Use Pillar of the Caged God from level 1!
Start with Falling Thunder, switch to Ice Strike at level 14, and supplement with Tempest Bell for tougher single-target scenarios.
Giga-twinking the build? With a few leveling uniques, you’ll literally obliterate campaign bosses, making the storyline content feel like a casual stroll.
