Site Inspection: Ocean Point Resort & Spa - an All-Inclusive Adults Only Boutique Resort on Antigua

The website says: Ocean Point Resort and Spa is ideal for travelers who want to discover the island and its 365 beaches and for business travelers.

I say: This is a great place to park.

Built in Mediterranean style, beachfront, the resort is located in the Hodge's Bay area, just 10 minutes drive from the Capital St.John’s, 5 minutes from the Cedar Valley Golf Course, and 7 minutes from the international airport VC Bird.

When I visited this resort in September 2019, it was near capacity but I was able to visit two rooms. The property has 69 rooms in 4 buildings (all facing the ocean: garden view, partial oceanview, or oceanview with verandah or balcony), a large outdoor pool, a massage centre facing the ocean, two nice beaches, a jetty for mooring boats, lively night time entertainments, free internet access and free parking. In addition, there's a boat to take customers over to Prickly Pear Island for the day; the island has a restaurant and bathroom facilities.

There is one restaurant at the resort that splits into two: à la carte (open for lunch and dinner) and buffet (for all meals). As a small boutique resort, there is no room service or in-room alcohol but the bar stays open pretty late.

Finally, Ocean Point Resort and Spa is open but with new Covid-19 restrictions, rules, regulations, and even temporary closures of some activities and spaces.
