This is Day 180 of our daily Bible reading — Second Chronicles 13-14, and Psalm 110. You will notice that unlike some other Bible reading programs, I am reading the Bible each day in ‘books’ not ‘bits'. The Bible is not meant to be read in a few-verses-here and a few-verses-there fashion. It is meant to be read as a collection of books which collectively form the grand meta-narrative (the one story behind it all) of God’s unfolding plan of redemption. As you come with me through the books of the Bible I’m going to try and help you to navigate this meta-narrative through a closer look at the less popular parts of the Bible which many readers often tend to avoid.
If you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear them and I will respond as soon as I can. Thank you for coming on this journey through the Bible in a year.
