Billy Milligan was a person born in 1955 in Miami and he was tortured by his step father to very extreme level therefore as a defense, he developed multiple personalities within him to tackle the problems at any situation. There were 24 different personalities with different names and characters, 2 of them even committed crimes and milligan was arrested, but later the psychiatrists took him to mental hospital. Since he himself wasn’t aware of what he does, when other personalities play role,and it was declared to be a multiple personality disorder for the first time ever, a person was dismissed by American govt even after committing major crimes.
