Taking stern action against growing Sikh separatism in Canada which hampers peace in Bharat, the Ministry of Home Affairs declared the designated Canada-based gangster and Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) leader, Lakhbir Singh Landa as an “individual terrorist" under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. This development comes amidst the ongoing diplomatic tensions between Bharat and Canada due to the latter’s failure to curb Sikh separatism in the country.
