Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Tuesday, a night devoted to bringing “bold vision” to America’s future and a new generation of Democratic leadership.
Pritzker, a billionaire hotel heir, took a combative tone while supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, calling former President Donald Trump stupid.
“We have a choice, America, between the man who left our country a total mess and the woman who has spent four years cleaning it up,” he said.
Later in the week, Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will formally accept their nominations as the party’s candidates.
