LIFE AFTER BETH stars Dane DeHaan as Zach, a guy devastated by the unexpected death of his girlfriend, Beth (Aubrey Plaza). But when she miraculously comes back to life, Zach takes full advantage of the opportunity to share and experience all the things he regretted not doing with her before. However, the newly returned Beth isn't quite how he remembered her and, before long, Zach's whole world takes a turn for the worse.

The film also stars Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, and Anna Kendrick.

Sundance NEXT Fest is a film festival fueled by the renegade spirit of independent artists. It's a new breed of festival experience celebrating the intersection of music and film.

NEXT FEST began on August 7, 2014 with an outdoor screening of Napolean Dynamite with Cinespia at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and continues through the weekend with the Los Angeles premieres of six new films at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles.

Each film marked by unfettered creativity is paired with either a special music performance that embodies a shared artistic sensibility, or a conversation that brings together filmmakers with those who inspired them.

LIFE AFTER BETH was paired with Father John Misty.
