Here are some cool facts regarding the Pirates Tower:
• Pirate Tower at Victoria in Laguna Beach, CA
• 60 feet tall
• Built in 1926 as an enclosed staircase from his mansion to the beach for William E. Brown, a senator from Los Angeles
• In the early 1940s, Brown sold his home (including the tower) to a retired naval captain, Harold Kendrick. Kendrick loved pirates
• The mansion, including the tower, has changed hands a number of times over the years (at one point belonging to Bette Midler)
• Corner of Victoria & Sunset Terr
