The Spa Valley Railway hosted a Spring Steam Up with a Scottish theme over the weekend of the 2nd & 3rd April 2022.

A fantastic highlight event featured four loco's including two Caledonian engine's in action with two passenger trains & brake van rides on intensive timetable.

Loco's are as follow were...

Caledonian Railway Class 439 No.419 (visiting from the Bo'ness & Kinnell Railway)
Caledonian Railway Class 812 No.828 (visiting on-loan from Strathspey Railway)
Hunslet 'Austerity' converted tender 0-6-0 No.2890 "Douglas"
Southern Railway 'Battle of Britain' Class No.34053 "Sir Keith Park" (painted with blue number & shed plate)
