In 1997 a fire ravaged Delhi's Uphaar Cinema killing 59, among them 23 children, the youngest of whom was a month old.

Shekhar and Neelam Krishnamoorthy were among parents whose children Ujjwal & Unnati died. They led a 26- year old crusade for justice which is still ongoing. The hit Netflix series is based on their lives.

In this conversation with Barkha Dutt, the real-life couple meet their on-screen protagonists- Abhay Deol & Rajshri Deshpande.
