Indonesia has unveiled broad emergency COVID-19 restrictions as infections soar to record levels. All malls in Java and Bali will have to shut, while dining in at F&B outlets will also be banned. The measures take effect on July 3 and last for two and a half weeks. On July 1, Indonesia reported record highs of close to 25,000 new infections and over 500 deaths. Only about 7% of the country's population have been vaccinated so far.
