This rowing tip works for rowing faster on calories or meters but I wouldn’t say this is the way to row for long distance. If you have a short sprint or a small set of calories I would recommend rowing heels down as best you can.
Coming up onto the toes is a natural part of the stroke but people overdo it and end up using their back and arms more than their legs. Next time you are on the concept 2 rower give this a try!
