KIBBEH BI LABAN IS ALL Time favourite of LEBANESE children and even adults
to cook the Laban or YOGURT all we need:
2 kilos of laban or yogurt
120 GRMS of corn flour or maizena
salt to taste
piece of butter or 10 grms
dry mints for toppings
1cup water
to cook the Laban or YOGURT
in a big casserole empty the 2kilo of YOGURT using strainer.after in empty container or bottles of YOGURT add 1 cup of water shake it to take off the YOGURT that stick in the bottle or container.add
120grms maizena mix to dissolve in water and add it in the casserole with YOGURT mix and take off the strainer.
mix it well before cooking.start with the low fire to medium but don't begin in higher heat it's not good...if you are not in a hurry in Very low fire you can leave it but every 1minute you have to mix it,, while doing something..for while I'm waiting I do my small kibbeh ..
but if you are in a hurry and you have kibbeh prepared ahead of time then you can coo it quickly.put the fire in medium heat not higher but this time you have to mix it contenuesly don't ever leave not stop mixing until it boil...as soon as it boil you can add salt and piece of butter mix take off the fire..set aside away from the hot stove ..
it's ready to serve but if dont serve it you can heat it later.
just make it hot and ready to serve with the boil small kibbeh sprinkle with dry mint and rice vermicelli aside..
