Note: After this was filmed, 2 tornadoes touched down in my neighborhood, hitting around 125 homes. There has been no better time than to bring awareness to this campaign.

Walmart is raising funds in support of the Canadian Red Cross disaster preparedness, relief and response in Canada. This means having the supplies and the trained volunteers ready to jump into action when house fires, floods, forest fires or other emergencies disrupt the lives of Canadians. The money donated will allow the Canadian Red Cross to respond in any community where it is needed.

This annual campaign will take place at Walmart stores across the country from June 29 – July 28 2023, and customers can contribute to the campaign by donating in-store at check-out.
