Ingredients:
Mutton trotters
Onion
Tomato
Ginger-garlic paste
Green chilies
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Cumin powder
Garam masala
Pepper powder
Almond
Cashew Nuts
Coconut
Mint Leaves
Bay leaves
Black cardamom
Fennel Seeds
Star Anise
Black Stone Flower
Cloves
Cinnamon stick
Salt to taste
Water
Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:
Clean the mutton trotters thoroughly.
Pressure cook the trotters with water until tender.
Once the pressure is released, remove the trotters along with broth.
In a separate pot, heat oil and fry the spices until fragrant.
Add the cooked trotters and broth, sauté until they are well coated with the spices and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the gravy thickens.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with Appam or Idiyamppam.
