Kevin Foster, the UK’s Minister for Immigration confirmed on earlier this month that Covid concessions on visa rules around an obligation to be in the UK to study will be extended to 6 April 2022 for the next intake.
The news signifies newly arriving international students will be able to begin studying outside the UK if health and visa protocols obligate them to do so but can still be entitled for work rights upon graduating.
