Dr. Omron earned his Medical Degree and MPH in Epidemiology from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine in 2008 and then worked at the University of Michigan as a clinical teacher and ultrasound site director. He came to Johns Hopkins as Assistant Program Director in 2010 and was promoted to Associate Program Director. He was the former Simulation Director, Evidence-Based Medicine Director, and Ultrasound Faculty for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Omron has taught nationally on deliberate practice and the clinical diagnosis of dizziness. He is currently Co-Leader for the Education Core for the Center for Diagnostic Excellence at the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute. He is the loving father of Emmett, Nora, and Gillian. He is husband to Kate and is active in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 742.
