President Barack Obama doesn’t need the approval of Congress to lift sanctions imposed on Iran, but that’s what the Republican majority in Congress want to change. Senator Bob Corker, chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is pushing for a bill that could delay, and potentially eliminate, the White House’s power to lift sanctions.
