There are lots of videos on YouTube that claim to reveal the origin of the Irish and Scots, but the results illustrated in this talk are based exclusively on the DNA of males from Ireland, Scotland and their diasporas. What emerges is a fascinating story of Conquest, settlement, and assimilation with lots of unexpected surprises that are re-writing the history of both countries.
