In this video you'll see me replace the drivers door lock actuator motor in my 2009 Honda Fit Sport. After some testing (and a minor gamble cuz I wasn't certain this was in fact "it") I officially rip my door apart and replace the lock motor to stop the door lock from cycling over-and-over whenever you lock the door.
What I'm hearing is that one of the doors can't tell it's locked so it tries to 'fix it'. This happens when the door auto-lock on takeoff or when you lock the doors with the key fob thingy and walk away.
By strategically removing relevant fuses (one-at-a-time) I found that with one pulled everything worked except for the driver's door itself (so I had to lock it manually with the key). That told me I had to replace the drivers door locking actuator unit.
