A popular staple of many orchestral pop concerts nowadays, video game music has evolved from bleeps and bloops to lush orchestral landscapes. Inspired by the music, our panelists have started and run video game orchestras of their own. Come listen as the panelists share their journey in starting and running a video game music orchestra from the ground up! After a brief overview of the role of video game music in establishing the setting, scene and mood, we'll segue into the impact of orchestral video game music. Next, we'll delve into the behind-the-scenes of operations/marketing. Finally we'll learn how the panelists take a soundtrack, and turn it into an orchestral score.
