Locations:
Scene 1 – Lake Macquarie, Belmont, NSW
Situated about two hours drive north of Sydney is Australia's largest saltwater lake - Lake Macquarie. The volume of water contained within the lake is twice that of Sydney Harbour, in both area and volume. This shot is from the eastern side of the waterway looking west to the spectacular sunset on a calm and warm September evening.

Scene 2 – Mollymook, Shoalhaven, NSW South Coast
Found on the South Coast of New South Wales, Mollymook is a beautiful little beachside town blessed with spectacular natural scenery. This scene starts at Ulladulla head, and travels along the rocky coastline to a gorgeous aqua rock pool known as the 'Bogey Hole'. The top down sequence ends at 'Flat Rock' where we travel along Mollymook surf beach all the way to Bannister's Head where the scene ends with a look back to where the flight started.

Scene 3 – SS South Steyne Ferry, Berry Bay, Waverton, Sydney
The SS South Steyne is a former Sydney Harbour Manly ferry. She was the world's largest steam-powered passenger ferry and operated on the service from 1938 to 1974. Restored in the 1980s she is a heritage listed and is a very high quality example of Australian naval architecture. She has a length of 67.23 metres (220.6 ft), beam of 11.76 metres (38.6 ft), and gross tonnage of 1,203 tonnes (1,184 long tons; 1,326 short tons).

Scene 4 – Intertidal Mud Flat, Pittwater, Palm Beach, Sydney
The final scene of Gliding #016 is a pass over a mud flat in the Pittwater waterway north of Sydney. This landscape is littered with mud crab holes and as a consequence almost looks like the asteroid littered surface of another world.
