The long awaited electrical work. The video was broken into a couple days, the last day was about 20 degrees in my garage... soldering took forever.
I'd give a part number or a "where to buy" type thing for the brake light, but it's just a generic trailer light I picked up at the auto parts store. It said it is waterproof and completely sealed. Good enough for me, cost like $16
A side note, even after I fixed the "blown bulb", the left signal didn't work. It turned out that the left rear bulb wasn't drawing enough power. With the dash being an LED now, the draw is lower across the whole system. When I swapped that one to the right side, the left turn worked and the right got stuck on.
I bought an electronic flasher unit AND a brake strobe. Not bad for $20 shipped.
