2014 was quite a year for NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Some highlights include: Support to four crews doing research on the International Space Station, the first Vine video was sent from space by Astronaut Reid Wiseman, the start of a new weekly web video look at what’s happening on the station called “Space to Ground,” a National Geographic special called “Live from Space” hosted from Mission Control, the “Rise of Independence” shuttle replica atop the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft at Space Center Houston, the first 3-D print from space, NASA Feeds Families donations, and capping the year off, the successful first test flight for Orion, NASA’s human spacecraft for future exploration.
