This advert was broadcast on 24 November 1984 to publicise the "Travelcard" prepaid bus/rail ticket available in the West Midlands County area.
The West Midlands may well have been a pioneer in introducing such tickets in the 1970's.
In the early 1950's Walsall Corporation obtained powers to have such tickets for use on buses and trolleybuses, but never actually introduced them.
