If you notice that when you do this you get “doming” vertically down your midline … then it’s too much pressure and stretching the muscles/tissues apart even more. Increasing risk for Diastasis Recti.
Protect your core by rolling to your side and pushing up with your arms. Also exhale and pull your baby in (shrinking your stomach) while you sit up (or do any challenging move).
