In the Bible we see examples of people and nations who shipwreck their faith, because they don’t understand and embrace the ways of God. Two things that often damage the journey of fulfilling our calling, are that we do not understand the timing and the processes of God. Here, Andrew Selley teaches believers how to make sure they finish their race well by learning about these timings and processes. God is more concerned with our faith and character than our gifting or abilities. As we build our lives with other people, God is going to form us. The promise that God has given us, is going to test us until He brings it to pass, much like Joseph who was sold into slavery, but recognised that God sent him there to save people.
