have you ever heard medication order? Prescription order? Now, in the clip earlier, prescription order was mention. And we all know that prescription order was given from the prescriber. But do you know that the medication order is also given by the prescriber? So, what are the difference in this two? Medication order is a request of medication from the physician for “IN-PATIENT” in any institutional setting. While prescription order is a request also of medication from a physician for “OUT-PATIENT”. So medication order, for in-patient and prescription order, for out-patient. But for some occasions, prescription orders can be requested by prescriber for in-patients, if medication is not available in the institutions and that it needs to be bought outside the premises.
