Here's a straighforward retune & test on this 1994 radio. These sets can suffer from dry joints, but that wasn't the case with this set. These are one of those radios that annoyingly boot-up on channel 9. The daft squelch adjustment range is also annoying. On some of these the squech doesn't unmute (on minimum) unless an aerial is connected.

Anyway, I was rewarded with a full 4W output.
