Part 2 of the British and American coup of 1953 in Iran which toppled the popular government of Dr Mossadegh and de-nationalized the Oil that Dr Mossadegh had nationalized. After the coup a consortium of British and American oil companies together with French and Holland hold the ownership of 90% of Iran's oil exports.
