Until very recently, several communities in Africa did not see the need for a formal education for children with disabilities. Things have since changed for the better, and now many parents and guardians are taking the initiative to ensure that their children are schooled.
Even those without limbs have special schools and teachers who train them to write, and to acquire the skills that they need to take them through life.
