That's 3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all for the minimal budget of just a single £1 coin.
With todays climate and how much things cost, I had no idea if that would be possible.

This is the finale of a series spanning over the next few months where I visited Britain's top 8 supermarkets to see if this challenge is possible at each of them. Can you sustain living on £1 for a day at each of these supermarkets?

Britain is currently experiencing a Cost of Living Crisis, which means that prices for food, fares, and other goods are rising rapidly. With all that said, is living on £1 for a day a feasible thing to be able to do, or is it just a pipe dream?

I won't be mixing and matching supermarkets. Each episode will centre on one supermarket to see if it is possible or not. We do have the dreaded second £1 coin if it proves impossible. I'll also strive to make different meals at each supermarket, where possible.
