Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28 inaugurated the new Parliament building. He bowed down before Sengol to mark the beginning of the inauguration. The historic Sengol was placed next to Lok Sabha Speaker’s chair. PM felicitated the workers who constructed the new parliament. Also, a multi-faith prayer ceremony was carried out. PM also paid tribute to VD Savarkar and Mahatma Gandhi.
