Businesses selling these products all over the web do not warn or inform customers that these products are radioactive. To make matters worse, they used to be and still are sometimes marketed as health and wellness products, which is an outright LIE. The Authority for Nuclear Safety and Protection has warned consumers about these products and have banned many of them. But they continue to pop up online in various forms. While the level of radioactivity (usually thorium contamination) for most of these products is not very significant, the lack of labeling informing customers of the potential risks of wearing them is at a minimum, unethical, and at worse, could lead to people exceeding their annual limit of radiation outlined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission [ Ссылка ].
