We're in Melaka or Malacca, a historical city here in Malaysia well known for it's famous and very authentic Malay curry dish called Asam Pedas. The most popular dish is Asam Pedas Ikan Pari which is a spicy and sour stingray fish curry. This is our first time trying stingray and fish egg Asam Pedas claypot in Malaysia and it's got to be the most intense Malay meal we've had so far in Malaysia... our reaction as foreigners to this Asam Pedas says it all.
