1)A day after Goa police ruled out political nexus in the job scam, opposition has slammed the law enforcing authority while demanding Judicial probe. While GFP Chief Vijai Sardesai accused police of being caged parrot, Congress's Sunil Kawthankar called police as puppet. On the other hand AAP MLA Venzy said that many people with political backing are involved on this scam.

2) Goa government has ended 40 year old lease with Goa Dairy to run a modern cattle feed plant. The lease ended this year with government showing no intention to renew. Set up in 1984, the plant is now handed over to Animal and Husbandry department. The Termination order also mentioned that the liabilities of Rs.12.19 crores of feed plant shall be settled by the Goa Dairy to the Suppliers of raw materials in time bound manner.

3) Crime Branch in its action against escort websites has arrested 3rd accused Yogesh Kumar (41) n/o Ghaziabad for allegedly creating escort website. Yogesh himself was allegedly the creator of the website. Further search cum seizure panachanama was drawn at the place as shown by Yogesh Kumar where data of website was stored. CPU was seized. He was taken into custody and brought to Goa.

4)The North Goa District Magistrate has announced a temporary ban on entry to the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Catedral for tourists and the general public from November 18 to 20.
The decision has been made to facilitate preparations for the upcoming exposition of the Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier, scheduled to begin on November 21. These preparations are deemed urgent and necessary to ensure smooth arrangements for the event.The restriction will remain in effect until November 20, unless revised or withdrawn earlier, as per the magistrate’s order.

5) A Tiger was captured on camera in Karnataka's Kali Tiger Reserve in the Western Ghats on border with Goa. Tiger was spotted while crossing the road on Ramnagar to Karwar road. A man passing by captured the Tiger.

6) Goa Medical College (GMC) is contemplating to start Masters in Oncology and Physiatric Medicine. GMC Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar was addressing the gathering at the 15th Scientifica Event at GMC.
