Making yogurt in your instant pot without a yogurt button is better for raw milk. I control the temperature. This is how I've been making yogurt for over year! Easies way I've found!
If you don't have an instant pot....no problem!! Simply follow the instructions with a nice thick pot on the stove top.
Sauté to 100 degrees.
Turn off instant pot.
Mix in yogurt starter really well and cover.
Sit to the side for 8-10 hours or a full day in my case.
Then you can pull out the insert and cover with foil.
Store in fridge for a few hours or again...a full day in my case. ;)
Let it cool down and then you can jar it or strain it for greek yogurt, which is what I do with all of mine.
