Warner Paioneer is responsible for many Atlantic jazz reissues in Japan, like Coltrane's legendary titles like My Favorite Things and the rest. In the early 90's Warner Music (name was changed) Japan released a great Atlantic Jazz Reissue Series called, Atlantic Jazz LP Collection Series. With this series, they didn't pick up popular tites but minor ones. I didn't know some of the titles before but all are great sessions. Toyo Kasei cut and pressed this series making it superb sound and pressing quality. Moreover, I was amazed at the original recording quality...wow. They also restored the original jacket design, label design and the paper they used is high quality and jacket is beautifully laminated. They restored the inner paper sleeve as well! In case you don't know this series, better to dig.
