Govt releases details of startups’ promotion in Defence Sector under ‘Aatmanirbhar Mission’

Efforts are being made to localise the production of defence sector products

The Department of Defence Production has launched Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) framework

It will include MSMEs, start-ups, individual innovators, R&D institutes and academia

Nine Institutions are working as partner incubators to support activities under iDEX

iDEX expects to engage with Defence Innovation Hubs to create solutions for the defence sector’s problems
