Huge thanks go out to the wonderful Cat Jessop who hosted us and our GCSE art group for a day out in Rochdale. We visited the Pioneers Museum, which is in the same building the very first Co-operative store was set up, so it has history coming out of the walls! Cat led us in some brilliant hands-on exercises and we took a walk around the town looking at all the fantastic murals it has, many inspired by the banners of the Co-operative Society.
