This is a video of me taking the KTM Shuttle Tebrau from the Woodlands Train Checkpoint to JB Sentral in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Since the Tanjong Pagar railway station at the city centre of Singapore was closed, the only trains running from Singapore to Malaysia is the Shuttle Tebrau. The service currently goes back and forth on the Johor-Singapore Causeway between Singapore and Malaysia around once an hour every day. With a journey time of 5 minutes, this has got to be the shortest international train service in the world.
After clearing immigration of both Singapore and Malaysia at the Woodlands Train Checkpoint (also known as the Woodllands CIQ Complex), I got onto the platform and boarded the train. I managed to correctly guess the direction the train was going and found a forward facing seat with the window to my right. When the train got onto the Causeway, I saw 3 thick water pipes transporting water from Malaysia to Singapore along with the Johore Strait. As the train approached the Malaysian side of the Strait, I caught a glimpse of the R&F Princess Cove property development on the shore, along with the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House before the train entered the JB Sentral station where every one got off.
This video has been left (mostly) unedited, and I plan to upload another version with my commentary in the near future when I have time.
