In a dramatic turn of events, AIADMK MLAs were forcibly evicted from the Tamil Nadu assembly on Friday after attempting to raise discussions on the Kallakurichi hooch tragedy during Question Hour. Leader of Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami criticized the Speaker for denying permission to discuss the incident, which claimed the lives of at least 50 people. He condemned the eviction of MLAs as a "murder of democracy" and led all opposition members, dressed in black shirts, in protest inside the assembly.
