CRISPY 💥 Shrimp Ball 🍤

This is my quick recipe for crispy Shrimp Ball.
Instead of using egg roll wrappers I decided to use wonton wrappers for a different texture. It’s EXTRA crispy.
This is a great appetizer or a good idea for Lunar New Year coming up.
This is one of my favorite things to get at dim sum if you know, you know! 🤤
What you’ll need:
18 large shrimp
2 clove minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tsp Oyster sauce
1/2 Tbsp Sesame oil
1 Tsp Sugar (adjust to your liking)
1 tbsp Corn starch
1 Tsp White pepper
Salt to taste
Servings 3
Makes 9 large balls
Method:
1. Mince the shrimp
2. To a bowl, add the seasoning ingredients to the shrimp and mix.
3. Cut your wonton wrappers into strips
4. Get a golf ball sized shrimp ball (make sure to wet hands a bit so the shrimp paste does not stick.
5. Cover the ball with the wonton strips.
6. Fry at 375 until crispy Golden brown for 5-7 minutes.
7. Serve with sweet chili and enjoy!
