CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation of two hyperboloid mixers in a stirred tank.
The INVENT Hyperboloid Mixing Technology has the ability to create a Virtual Wall between two hyperboloid mixers spinning in opposite directions. Thanks to the Virtual Wall, separated mixing zones can be created without the need of physical walls.
Hyperboloid mixing technology is used for stirred tank reactors in the biological water and wastewater treatment. This high efficiency solution provides reliable mixing, a sedimentation free bottom surface and a quiescent surface.
This simulation shows the flow patterns of the steady-state solution for the incoming flow.
