Finland’s Ambassador to India has said that there is a massive surge in public opinion in Helsinki about the prospect of joining NATO. Ritva Koukku-Ronde spoke exclusively to Zakka Jacob and said that there is nothing new about Russia’s threat. She further added no country has the right to dictate terms to an independent & sovereign Finland. This comes days after the Putin administration in Russia warned Finland of consequences if it were to apply for NATO membership. The Ambassador also said that Finland feels Ukraine’s pain and will continue to do all it can to help Kyiv. Watch the full interview for all the details.
