Servings - 2 - 3
INGREDIENTS
Raw peanuts - 200 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Onions - 100 grams
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Water - 30 milliliters
Roasted peanuts - 50 grams
Tomato - 150 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Dry red chili - 1
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Roasted peanuts - 150 grams
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 teaspoons
PREPARATION
1. Take a pan, add 200 grams raw peanuts and roast for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat or until it turns golden brown in color.
2. Remove it from heat and remove the skin of peanuts.
3. Take a another pan, add 500 milliliters water, 100 grams onions, 1 tablespoon ginger, 1 tablespoon garlic and mix it well.
4. Bring it to a boil. Boil for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
5. Remove it from heat and drain the onion mixture.
6. Transfer this into a blender, add 30 milliliters water and blend it into a puree.
7. In a blender, add 50 grams roasted peanuts and blend it into a fine powder.
8. In a another blender, add 150 grams tomato, 1 tablespoon green chili and blend it into a puree. Keep aside.
9. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a skillet, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 dry red chili and stir well.
10. Then, add the blended onion puree and mix it well.
11. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat or until it turns golden brown in color.
12. Now, add the blended tomato puree and mix it well.
13. Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
14. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.
15. Add 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
16. Then, add 300 milliliters water and mix it well.
17. Bring it to a boil.
18. Now, add the blended peanuts, 150 grams roasted peanuts and mix it well.
19. Cover it with lid and cook for about 5 - 8 minutes on medium heat.
20. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
21. Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
22. Add 2 tablespoons coriander and mix it again.
23. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
24. Remove it from heat.
25. Garnish with coriander.
